'Pokemon Go' Updates: Shiny Pokemon Reveals Water Festival Announced

Niantic's latest "Pokemon Go" update have finally introduced shiny Pokemon. Niantic has confirmed the first major update for "Pokemon Go" by the end of 2017 bringing more than 80 new creatures joining the game.

Players around the globe have patiently waited for the release of the legendary creatures and now "Pokemon Go's" latest update are the shiny Pokemon that finally sets foot in the game. According to Daily Star, this shiny Pokemon is like a regular Pokemon but only have different colors. They are a bit rare and are just adding up to a player's collection. Players have higher chances of finding a shiny Pokemon in the "Pokemon Go".

Nevertheless, there are two popular shiny Pokemon that could quite appear in the nearby list and on the world map in "Pokemon Go". This two shiny Pokemon are Magikarp and Gyarados. However, the shiny Magikarp evolves into a shiny red Gyarados if players could be able to capture it.

Meanwhile, in a recent report, Niantic had launched its latest "Pokemon Go" water event called "Water Festival" for players. This means that players will have a chance of capturing water-type Pokemon other than Magikarp, includes Squirtle, Totodile, and some evolutions like Gyarados, Blastoise, Wartortle, Croconaw and Feraligatr.

The "Pokemon Go" water event for kicks off on March 22 and runs until March 29. The event also emphasized that if a player is around where the "water-type Pokemon appears," they might see breeds of Gen 2 Johto water Pokemon including Chinchou, Lanturn, Marill, Azumarill, Politoed, Wooper, Quagsire, Sloking, Qwilfish, Corosola, Remoraid, Octillery, Mantine and Kingdra, shared Forbes.

On the contrary, Niantic CEO, John Hanke at a recent MWC event was asked about the timeline as for when would these legendary creatures be added to "Pokemon Go". John Hanke didn't specifically confirm it, however, he answered, "I can safely say we'll see more of it this year." Additionally, reports claimed that adding the legendary creatures in the "Pokemon Go" are already in the works.

Furthermore, these generations one and two legendary creatures in the "Pokemon Go" are Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Lugia and the legendary birds Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno. Although there is no confirmation as of yet as for when these legendary creatures will be added, Niantics certainly has prepared something fans to look forward to this 2017.
