American entertainment company Funimation announced last week that "My Hero Academia" Season 2 will stream on both Hulu and Crunchyroll. The streaming services will begin offering the anime on their respective websites once the anime series starts airing on Apr. 1.

Fortunately for non-Japanese speaking viewers, the "My Hero Academia" Season 2 simulcast will also have English subtitles. It will be available in the United States for both Hulu and Crunchyroll, Comic Book wrote. However, the dubbed version of the show's simulcast will be exclusively available only to those who have access to Funimation's own streaming service, called FunimationNow. This means that the subtitled version of the show will be exclusive to the two partner streaming sites while the dubbed version will be limited to the distribution company's website.

According to Yahoo! Finance, "My Hero Academia" Season 2 will begin streaming simultaneously with the Japan premiere on Apr. 1. Furthermore, the first six English-subtitled episodes of the highly-touted anime series will launch on the same day on Hulu and Crunchyroll as their Japanese counterparts. CEO and Founder of Funimation, Gen Fukunaga said that the company is glad to partner with the two popular streaming services.

Meanwhile, EVP and COO of Funimation Mike Duboise said that the company is excited about the partnership. He also added that this tie-up will bring "My Hero Academia" Season 2 to more anime fans and to a broader audience. "Fans can look forward to another great season of 'My Hero Academia' beginning April 1," Duboise said.

"My Hero Academia" Season 2 continues the adventures of a boy named Izuku. In his world, 80% of the people are born with some kind of "quirk" or a super power. Unfortunately, he was not bestowed with one when he was born. However, he ran into some luck that allowed him to gain a quirk and let him enroll in the nation's prestigious superhero academy.
