A series of intimate photos starring "Fifth Harmony" singer Lauren Jauregui, and her ex-girlfriend, Lucy Vives, was released online and widely discussed upon by fans and media outlets. Jauregui, however, did not like people having a controversial outlook on her personal life and hence, decided to post a scathing reply on Twitter.

"To every single media outlet in my goddamn mentions right now talking about these pictures and my personal life, F*** YOU," Jauregui wrote, reports Unreality TV. "REPORT MY BRAIN." The reaction of the "Fifth Harmony" singer to the photoshoot came as a shock to many, including the photographer who took the photos, Nicole Cartolano.

Cartolano told MTV that Lauren Jauregui has a consented to the release of the photos of her and her ex-girlfriend because she wanted to make a statement. By means of the photos, Jauregui and Vives wanted to encourage youngsters to embrace their sexual orientation and be happy with whoever they were. If the "Fifth Harmony" singer already had a contractual agreement regarding the pictures, it is anyone's guess as to why she would lash out on social media regarding people discussing them in public.

However, Cartolano also added that Lauren Jauregui was quite nervous about coming out to her family and the Latin American community in general. Being part of "Fifth Harmony," she also cannot afford to attract bad publicity, because that would not only affect her but also her band and brand.

It is clear that Lauren Jauregui cannot file a lawsuit against the photographer, Nicole Cartolano since the pictures were legally released and not leaked online without the former's consent. Yet, the "Fifth Harmony" singer is refusing to come to terms with the scandalous manner her pictures are being treated by the public. Apart from that, fans have had mixed reaction to the pictures. While some have criticized Jauregui's decision to release them to the public, other have praised her for the same.
