Eiichiro Oda's "One Piece" will be celebrating one of the biggest milestones in the history of the series yet. The series will turn 20 years old and it appears that a new character will be introduced to celebrate the big event.

The latest "One Piece" news and spoilers from Droid Report points out that fans may have missed one detail on the first page of Chapter 860. The cover doesn't show much about the new character. However, it was revealed that the new name is Crocodile.

It is expected that more details about Crocodile will be unveiled in the upcoming chapter. The new "One Piece" character appears to be an ally. The cover shows him protecting a puppy from the rain. Will he be part of the Straw Hats' expanding team?

Meanwhile, fans are looking forward to the 20th anniversary celebration of "One Piece." It was revealed earlier this month that Eiichiro Oda will bring a new spin-off series for fans to enjoy. The spin-off will no longer focus on Monkey D. Luffy. Instead, it will feature the story of Portgas D. Ace.

Ace is one of the most interesting and beloved characters in the "One Piece" universe. Not only was he the one who instilled in Luffy a dream of becoming a seafarer but his death also marked a huge milestone in the life of the series hero. It appears that Oda is paving the way for Luffy's "brother" to shine.

Comic Book notes that "One Piece" is one of the biggest and most popular manga and anime titles in the industry. Aside from its popularity in the local region, "One Piece" has also made a name for itself in international locations. Fans all over the world are looking forward to the other announcements that will come with the series' 20th anniversary.

Just recently, Eiichiro Oda revealed that Luffy isn't his favorite character. He revealed that his favorite among the names in "One Piece" is Gaimon, the man stuffed in a treasure box. It is rumored that Gaimon may soon get a special for himself as the series marks 20 years of reign in the industry.
