The cast of "Quantico" Season 2 has seen another fallen member and it's not easy for fans to accept. Showrunner Joshua Safran has an explanation for this character exit as another familiar face returns to the small screens.

Speaking with TV Line, Safran explained that it's a "sad" time for the cast and crew of "Quantico." As fans saw on Monday's episode, Harry (Russell Tovey) called Alex (Priyanka Chopra) to let her know that he wants out of the team. However, he failed to mention that he was at gunpoint.

For the executive producer, it is unclear if Tovey's character will be erased from "Quantico" for the time being or if the character will no longer return. Safran also revealed that Tovey was already committed to "Angels in America" and it wasn't easy to get him signed into the show's second season. However, the actor stayed with the cast and crew longer than expected.

It appears that Russell Tovey has now chosen to pursue "Angels in America." Safran said Harry will no longer be in "Quantico" Season 2. It remains to be seen if he will return for the upcoming installments of the Priyanka Chopra starrer.

Meanwhile, fans will see a familiar face returning to "Quantico." According to Screener TV, Graham Rogers' Caleb Haas will return to the story. The outlet further reveals that Caleb will be seen on Episode 18. The said episode is titled "KUMONK" and will be aired next Monday, April 17.

Claire (Marcia Cross) has said that Clay (Hunter Parrish) will be the new leader of the task force. However, Caleb will intervene and only time will tell if this will be another big plot in "Quantico" Season 2. It appears that Caleb will be taking over the task that Clay will obviously not be able to deliver.

"Quantico" Season 2 airs every Monday on ABC. Stay tuned for more news and updates on the hit crime drama that stars Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, and more. Stream episodes here.
