Britney Spears, Mariah Carey Feud: ‘Without You’ Singer Stealing Dancers From ‘Toxic’ Singer?

Latest reports suggest that there is a bitter feud brewing between 2 legendary singers - Mariah Carey and Britney Spears - as each of them try to outshine the other. Spears is, allegedly, not happy about the fact that most of her backup dancers are gravitating towards Carey, as her show rolls around the corner.

What is further fueling the feud is the fact that both the pop stars are now settled in Las Vegas. But as Britney Spears plans to leave for her "Piece Of Me" music tour that has venues scattering across the planet, Mariah Carey is just beginning to audition for backup dancers for her upcoming show, which is going to be held in Sin City, Enstarz reported. 

Mariah Carey and Britney Spears may have shows which have conflicting dates, but not venues. Also, Mariah Carey's shows are going to span through the length of summer while Britney Spears' shows are going to last longer than that. Hence, dancers from the "Toxic" singer's crew, who want to land a gig closer to their homes, are opting to audition for the "Without you" singer's squad.

This is reportedly not sitting well for Britney Spears, who might have to start holding auditions of her own if the number of dancers in her crew goes down because of Mariah Carey. "Britney's boyfriend has been trying to calm her down, but she's become determined to outshine Mariah in every way possible," an insider said, Unreality TV reported.

The feud is going to be heating up really fast since both the pop stars are set to perform at Sin City this summer, at different venues, however. Britney Spears is set to pull in huge crowds as she takes stage at her "Piece of Me" show, which is going to be held at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood resort and casino, while Mariah Carey's "#1 To Infinity" residency show at Caesars Palace.

However, there is quite a fair bit of doubt when it comes to the authenticity of the feud rumors since Britney Spears' reps have denied the reports. Also, Mariah Carey has confessed on national television, during an interview on "Watch What Happens Live" that she loves Britney Spears.
