50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, had a surprising reaction when a fan attacked him during his show. The rapper invited the crazed fan on stage.

The incident happened on Saturday when 50 Cent was at The Lox in Baltimore for a show. The rapper was on stage when he reached out to the crowd to shake hands with fans. One female in the audience may have forcefully grabbed his hand and pulled him off the stage.

50 Cent tried to control his balance but eventually landed on the floor. TMZ acquired a video of the incident, which shows the rapper appear to punch the woman when he tried to free himself. The In da Club singer appeared irritated as he confronted the fan.

A commotion then followed as seen in the video. The woman and perhaps 50 Cent's bodyguards intercepted and helped the rapper back up on stage. By this time though, 50 Cent seemed to have cooled down enough not to react negatively to the incident.

50 Cent did not call the police nor ask someone to escort the fan out. Instead, he did the opposite and invited her on stage. The video shows two men lift the woman on stage and 50 Cent approached and talked to her. It is unknown what he whispered to the fan, but he clearly settled the commotion. She is later seen in the video twerking on the stage as the rapper performs for the crowd.

The 41-year old rapper has had his share of crazed fan attacks in the past. According to The Sun, in May 2004 he got into a fight with the audience after someone hit him with a flying water bottle while on stage. 50 Cent was charged with assault and battery and was sentenced to two years of probation in 2005.

Perhaps, 50 Cent invited the fan on stage to avoid another court sentence. He did not react negatively to the attack to avoid all the legal consequences.
