The Chainsmokers' first ever album "Memories...Do Not Open" got the worst ever user score on Metacritic. Their first tour concert failed to thrill their fans. Things are not going pretty well with the duo's first album launch.

The first album of The Chainsmokers, which consists of the duo Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, reached the newest lowest score on Metacritic. The album "Memories...Do Not Open" has closed the arguments if the duo really packs punch or not, and the verdict is not really nice. It's the worst, as they were given the score of 1.2, or described by Metacritic site as "Overwhelming Dislike". The album was dubbed as the worst album and the lowest user-ranked album of the year on Metacritic, as reported by Spin.

The Chainsmokers is known for two things: their chart-topping hits and their seeming ability to offend all kinds of people. There was even a "Popcast" from New York Times that discusses the softening sound of The Chainsmokers, as well as their unpleasant relationship with women, and their success as the exchange of values that once were vital to the dance music community. The duo's recent tour is also popping a red signal to the duo's career.

The first concert of the duo's tour on Miami failed to achieve epicness, according to Miami New Times. Starting with an awkward intro, The Chainsmokers opened their show with "The One". It is reported that people occasionally checked their phones for Snapchat. It is also reported that there are many people who vacated their seats when the duo has returned for their final song.

An artist or a group's career path was often decided by their first album. The Chainsmokers's "Memories... Do Not Open" performance is holding the verdict. Will there be an improvement that will happen in the future?
