Jennifer Nettles Introduced Baby Boy, Magnus Hamilton, On Mother's Day: 'So much love and joy on my first Mother's Day' [Photo]

Jennifer Nettles, Sugarland singer, celebrated her first mother's day with her new baby boy, Magnus Hamilton Miller, by posting a photo of her and her new baby on her website and on Twitter.

Nettles captioned the photo writing, "So much love and joy on my first Mother's Day! A very Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas! #MothersDay."

Magnus Hamilton is a 5-month-old blue eyed bundle of joy, not to mention adorable gestures, as the photo suggests.  Nettles and her husband, entrepreneur, Justin Miller got married in 2011 and had their new baby boy this past December, according to People Magazine.

"Becoming a mom is exciting -- and terrifying!" Nettles admitted to US Weekly in July. "At least I'll soon be off the road, decorating the nursery and nesting. Yahoo!"

Baby Magnus Hamilton was due in November, but he waited until December to make his highly anticipated appearance, according to Country Weekly.

"On December 6, 2012 my life was forever changed. I had a baby! Magnus Hamilton Miller was born healthy, hungry and with way more hair than I was expecting after seeing baby pictures of both me and my husband. Needless to say, especially to those of you who have children, the rhythm of my life is way different than the movement and pace before baby. In short, this baby is the boss of me," Nettles posted on her website yesterday under a section entitled 'Meet Magnus.'

"I'm so excited!" she told People. "He's super, super sweet. We made a deal before he was born. I said, 'Look, you can cook as long as you want, as long as you come out and latch like it's your job and have a sweet demeanor.' He kept his part of the bargain!"

Nettles told People that she planned to celebrate Mothers' Day by, "going to have a Mother's Day brunch. It's a good time around naps! We'll do a nice brunch and just relax."

On her website, Nettles also included a humorous depiction of pregnancy, birth, and finally motherhood.  She finished the introduction of her new baby boy writing, "I have appreciated all of your supportive messages and tweets as I have been giving myself the space to enjoy this most sacred, precious time. However, I am also bursting at the seams with pride! And so, it gives me great pleasure to say to you, Meet Magnus."

"We are so thankful for all the prayers and support and are excited to take some time together as a new family," Nettles and Miller said in a statement to US Weekly.
