James Cromwell recently revealed his role in "Jurassic World 2" and it seems his character is going to go against B.D. Wong's Dr. Wu. Cromwell said he plays Benjamin Lockwood, a person who wants to make amends for cloning the dinosaurs.

Cromwell, who starred in Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park," will return to "Jurassic World 2." In an interview with "Larry King Now," the actor revealed that Benjamin Lockwood is responsible for cloning the dinosaurs in the original films. He is the partner of John Hammond's Richard Attenborough.

However, it seems Benjamin Lockwood is a changed man in "Jurassic World 2." He wants to make up for the disaster he and Hammond caused with their experiment. "We developed the technology of being able to clone the genes. And so I'm trying to deal with the blowback from what we have done," Cromwell said in the video below.

According to Comingsoon.net, Cromwell's Benjamin Lockwood is likely going to cross paths with Dr. Wu in "Jurassic World 2" and not in a good way. If Lockwood wants to correct the mistakes he made after he cloned the dinosaurs, then he might butt heads with Dr. Wu. After all, the scientist wants to create more dinosaurs so he can weaponize them.

Viewers may remember that he is responsible for creating the Indominous Rex. He is to blame for the attack in Isla Nublar. He even took the embryo of the hybrid dinosaur when he escaped the island.  It is likely that he will continue experimenting on dinosaurs in "Jurassic World 2" when he arrives in the city.

Meanwhile, Cromwell is not the only "Jurassic Park" cast who will appear in "Jurassic World 2." Jeff Goldblum is also in the sequel. According to Screenrant, Laura Dern is also interested in reprising Ellie Sattler.

Cromwell and Goldblum's involvement further connects "Jurassic World 2" with "Jurassic Park." The Dilophosaurus from the original films will also make its appearance in the sequel.
