Britain's Prince Harry of Wales continued his week-long tour of the United States today by visiting the New Jersey shore areas that where damaged by Superstorm Sandy last year. The 28-year-old royal met with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as well as first responders from the hurricane. On top of this morning's visit to New Jersey, Harry spent his weekend participating in Armed Forces events and even tried his hand at American football!

Over the weekend, Harry showed his American comrades that he exceeds in all things athletic. On Saturday, the third in line for the throne took part in the 2013 Warrior Games. He was part of the opening ceremony and even played during a game of floor volleyball.

During the opening ceremonies, alongside Olympic Missy Franklin, Harry proclaimed, "You've got the Olympics, you've got the Paralympics. There's no reason the Warrior Games shouldn't be recognized worldwide." Check out this video highlighting Harry's time at the 2013 Warrior Games:

On Sunday, Prince William's younger brother got the chance to throw the pigskin around on his visit to the U.S. Air Force Training Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Though he told his coaches he was not very good at the sport, Harry managed to enjoy some American football. Check out a photo from yesterday's football toss:

Though he had some fun this weekend, this morning Harry got back to his more serious diplomatic duties by visiting the storm-damaged cost of New Jersey. Being shown around by Governor Christie, the royal got to see some residential areas and the shore points that are still affected by Sandy's aftermath.

As usual, an audience had gathered to get a glimpse of the prince. Harry and Governor Christie even took part in some boardwalk games. The two teamed up with some Seaside Heights Elementary students for a ball toss game. One young lady, 7-year-old Alexandra Cirigliano, was lucky enough to meet the prince. Harry even won the Jersey native a "Hello Kitty" doll. Alexandra's 11-year-old sister Taylor said that the prince is "cute."

"It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience," said Alexandra's mother Jill Cirigliano. "I think their teacher will understand why they're not in school."

Later today, Harry will be in New York City to promote tourism to Britain. So far the young prince has proven himself a mature diplomat who is capable of his royal duties.
