A One Direction reunion may not happen soon, according to the group's former member Niall Horan. The singer hinted that the get together might happen after a year, considering the boys' busy schedules.

Fans have been anticipating news of a One Direction reunion after the group went on a hiatus in 2015. Niall Horan finally gave fans hope for the team to come together in a recent interview with Dan Wootton from The Sun. The singer sounded positive that he will meet up with his former group mates Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and even with Zayn Malik.

However, Niall Horan cannot commit to an exact date on the One Direction reunion. "It's been a year and a bit already. We don't want to put a time on it, but when that phone call does come, no matter whoever it comes from, we're back again," Horan told the publication.

According to NME, there is a great chance for the One Direction reunion to happen. After all, Niall Horan confirmed that they still have albums left to record for SYCO label, which Simon Cowell owns. However, there is no definite time when this get together happens.

Regardless, the "Slow Hands" singer hinted that the One Direction reunion might happen after a year. Niall Horan mentioned the fact that they all have their solo music careers to focus on now. This could keep them busy and delay the get-together. "You know I'm going to probably end up touring this, Harry will probably end up doing the same, probably Liam probably Louis, that's a year - time adds up," he added.

Each member of One Direction has gone solo after Zayn Malik left the group in 2015. Louis Tomlinson was the first to release his single, then Niall Horan and then Harry Styles. Liam Payne, on the other hand, seems focused on being a father to his son with Cheryl Cole.
