Another One Direction heartthrob is about to release his debut solo album. According to reports, after Harry Styles, Liam Payne is next to drop his album.

Liam Payne announced on Twitter that he will be releasing his first ever solo single "Strip That Down" featuring Quavo. The new dad posted a 20- second video to teased fans about his new music. "Mad excited to announce my new single Strip That Down ft. @quavostuntin out May 19th #STRIPTHATDOWN," he wrote on the caption.

The video features a similar-sounding clip to the one the Liam Payne,23, had teased just 24 hours before his big announcement, with a thumping beat and Payne's catchy little "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" hook, E! News reported.

There is no concrete date as to when Liam Payne's new album will be released. However, a source told The Sun, that the former One Direction singer wanted his solo music to sound like a mix between Justin Bieber and Drake's songs. Fans can expect it to be a hip-hop album and it will be very different from Harry Styles'. In fact, he already worked with a number producers and artists.

In other news Liam Payne has been very busy lately. Not just about the preparations for his upcoming music album but also as a dad. Cheryl Cole and Payne just welcomed their first baby, Bear Payne last March 22. The first-time parents are very excited for their bundle of joy and the new responsibilities that come along with it.

Liam wrote in a post that his family and friends know that there are very few times when he feels speechless while he was holding his son after birth. He continued that he was incredibly happy to welcome his new baby boy into the world and added that it was the best and most unforgettable moment in his life.
