A new trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight," which drops Wednesday, hints at Optimus Prime's decision to side with the good guys. The previous sneak peeks had since teased that he goes rogue and kills Bumblebee.

Paramount Pictures on its official Twitter page announced the release of the new trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight" on May 17. The short preview shows Optimus Prime taking down his enemies in one sweep. According to Screenrant, the sneak peek is actually a snippet taken from the last trailer released by the studios.

However, this short video may have just hinted at Optimus Prime's allegiance in "Transformers: The Last Knight." The enemies he fought with shares a resemblance to the Decepticons. Perhaps he sides with Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots, instead of going against them.

The past trailers for "Transformers: The Last Knight" have since hinted at Optimus Prime going rogue. He goes against the good guys and speculations are rife that he kills Bumblebee. That scene where he fights his fellow Autobot and takes a swipe at him is said to be when Bumblebee dies.

According to Nerd Reactor, Optimus Prime betrays his family after his interaction with a Quintesson. The trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight" showed him talking to a female robot, where the latter asked him about redemption. It is supposedly likely that the Quintesson, known as the creator of the Autobots and the Decepticons, has influenced him to go rogue.

However, this may change later on in the film as hinted by the clip from Paramount Studios teased. Perhaps the new trailer that is dropping by on Wednesday will reveal more details about Optimus Prime's sudden change of behavior. The new preview for "Transformers: The Last Knight" might reveal details behind his interest to kill Bumblebee and betray his fellow Autobots.
