Adult Swim has announced the release on "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2. The creators mentioned a Summer return and the writers also hinted on a possible storyline based on the episode title.

According to Den of Geek, The showrunners announced a Summer release for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 during a commercial break on the premiere episode. The show's official Twitter page also confirmed the release in the Summer months, which falls between June and August. The creators did not give a specific release date, although there have been several speculations on a July airdate. Other reports claimed the show could return on June 27 and possibly sometime in May.

IMDB initially listed a May 14 release date for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2, although this never happened. Perhaps Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland will once again surprise fans with the release, much like what they did with Episode 1. Harmon aired "Rickshank Rickdemption" on April 1 after a fan made the request on Twitter.

Meanwhile, fans have been speculating on a possible storyline for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 based on its title. The episode is called "Rickmancing the Stone," which according to Inverse, is likely influenced by the 1980s film "Romancing the Stone."

Viewers are probably aware by now that the series highly references movie titles in their episodes. In the movie, Michael Douglas' character went on a jungle adventure with a female journalist in search for her missing sister. Along the way, he came in possession of a precious gem and fell in love with his companion.

Now that Rick is out of prison he is back to his crazy adventures with his grandson Morty. Perhaps "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 will take the pair to a jungle planet where Morty meets a girl whom he instantly falls in love with. Regardless, fans will know what happens in "Rickmancing the Stone" when it airs in Summer.
