Khloe Kardashian Gets Invisalign Braces at 28

Khloe Kardashian has decided to invest in Invisalign braces to straighten out her teeth at 28-years-old.

The procedure was done last week by the Kardashian family dentist, Dr. Kevin Sands, according to Radar Online.  "She happens to have one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen," Dr. Sands told the publication.  "But she's a perfectionist and so am I, so it was just something we knew we could do. We'll take her from a 9.5 to a 12!"

Khloe is getting a customized Invisalign set, the Huffington Post reports.  On thursday she tweeted, 'Thank you @Drkevinsands for being the best dentist ever! If only we could all be put to sleep like Lamar LOL maybe next time :).'

"Her teeth are just slightly crooked and rotated, most people wouldn't notice, that's how minor it is," Dr. Sands said in an interview with Radar Online.  "But Invisalign is just so easy and non-invasive that it's worth doing. When Khloe walked in last week I was like, 'Wow!' She looks better than ever. We fixed some fillings and took the molds for the Invisalign."

Khloe started the procedure earlier in the month has already reported seeing some progress, the Examiner reports.  Dr. Sands tweeted a picture of the two of them together after their appointment with the caption, "The beautiful @KhloeKardashian stopped by, always a pleasure to have her and Lamar [her husband] visit!"

Khloe is not the only celebrity to have her teeth straightened later on in life.  She joins people like Tom Cruise and Faith Hill, according to the Examiner.  Dr. Sands, of Beverly Hills, California, told Radar Online that, the Kardashians have, "the most expensive mouths in town right now!"  "I'm lucky to say I'm their guy and they're very loyal.  Most loyal family I know!" he said.

Khloe said that, although her smile was not a major source of stress for her, she decided to try the procedure since she was in the dentists office anyway, the Examiner reports.  The Kardashian family has been known to go to great lengths for beauty.  

Invisalign and braces, have become more and more common among adults in recent years, according to the Huffington Post.  So, Khloe seems to be following a growing trend.
