Author J.K. Rowling has completed the screenplay for the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie sequel. This was revealed when an anxious fan asked Rowling herself if she had already written the “Harry Potter” movie spin-off on Twitter. The fan also asked the author to tell her everything about it.

To which J.K. Rowling replied,“Yes, I have but I CAN’T TELL YOU ANYTHING YET, WOMAN.”
The first “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie was so successful that Warner Brothers Pictures wasted no time in renewing it to include five movies. It is two more than the originally agreed upon trilogy during the 2014 pre-production discussions.

The sequel of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is scheduled to begin filming on July 17. It is expected to be released in November 2018 reports Metro UK. It was previously announced that Jude Law has joined the cast and will be playing a young Professor Albus Dumbledore, a beloved character in the “Harry Potter” book and movie series.

It has been rumored that “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” will explore Dumbledore’s sexuality. Even J.K. Rowling teased that there will indeed be a lot to unravel in the relationship that will form between him and Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). She, however, refused to give any more details about the said relationship.

It has also been reported that Callam Turner has been signed on to play Newt Scamander’s (Eddie Redmayne) brother. Zoe Kravitz will also be reprising her role as Leta Lestrange in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” sequel. Aside from confirming that she will have a much bigger role, Zoe also teased that there is a potential for a romantic relationship with Newt Scamander. So far, the return of the other Fantastic Beasts such as Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol from the first movie have yet to be confirmed.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is set decades before the birth of J.K. Rowling’s boy wizard Harry Potter. The sequel will reportedly be shot and set in Paris according to Movie Web. David Yates will return in the director’s chair. The third movie will be released in 2020 and the fourth one will come a year later in 2021. The fifth and last of the installment is slated for release in 2023.
