One of the expected artists who will appear at the Manchester benefit concert is not appearing after all. Demi Lovato has revealed the reason behind this. She has received backlash from fans since.

According to Teen Vogue, Demi Lovato was asked by a fan why she will not be appearing at the upcoming Ariana Grande benefit tour in Manchester. "Cause I wasn't asked," the "Let It Go" singer responded. Grande has yet to comment on the issue.

Ever since Demi Lovato took to social media to reveal the truth, she has received hate from some fans. Some suggest that she should not have revealed the true reason for missing the MCR concert. They say she is just sparking a beef with Ariana Grande and other musicians.

On the other hand, other fans are suggesting that there's nothing wrong with what Demi Lovato did. They say she only told the truth since fans have been asking. This could be true since she seemed to answer the question without malice.

There have been rumors suggesting that Demi Lovato and Grande may have a private beef. Due to what Lovato revealed, the rumors have become more rampant. On the other hand, the "Skyscraper" singer has responded to the backlash she has been receiving for days.

According to Seventeen, Demi Lovato posted the same poster that Ariana Grande posted about the Manchester benefit concert. The "Confident" singer seemed to let fans know that she is supporting Grande's concert. "We all need to do everything we can to support," she captioned the poster.

Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande were both former Disney starlets. Both stars have not reacted to rumors of an alleged beef. It remains to be seen if they will soon talk about the Manchester benefit concert again. For now, fans can only trust that the former good friends will keep supporting each other in their musical careers.
