The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2017) revealed a new Apple product named iMac 2017. No, it is not a Mac Pro refresh but is the new behemoth for the Apple desktop products. Meanwhile, it seems like Apple has totally abandoned its Mac Pro product line.

iMac 2017 was revealed during the WWDC 2017 and it boasts specs that make it an Apple behemoth though it is not an iMac Pro. The iMac Pro is expected to come in December with a starting $4,999 price tag, as reported by Engadget. Many users prefer to wait and see before giving the iMac 2017 a try. But for those who wants details, some of the WWDC 2017 attendees shared their experience with the new iMac 2017.

First of all, there are two display choices: 21-5- or 27-inch iMac. One of the most noticeable change is the bigger and wider Magic Keyboard. There's also an additional Thunderbolt 3 port and its display is also 43 percent brighter than before. The I/Os includes four USB 3.0 Connections, one SDXC card slot, a headphone jack and an Ethernet port.

Specs wise, the iMac 2017 carries Intel Core i5 or Core i7 "Kaby Lake" processors. DDR4 variety was used for RAM and it is now up to 32 GB on 21.5-inch and 64 GB on the 27-inch model. Both 4K and 5K models house an AMD Radeon 500 with 4 GB video memory for 21.5-inch and up to  GB video memory for the 27-inch. The new iMac also uses Apple's hybrid Fusion Drive.

Another good news for Apple fans, iMac 2017 can actually be upgraded, as reported by BGR. With this, Apple fans will be able to upgrade PC on their own which allows users to upgrade in a cheaper way. Before this, Macs are being outdated faster because individual parts of Apple devices can only be bought in Apple Stores or to buy another similar unit.
