Kree Harrison, who has faced hardship throughout her life, losing both of her parents in separate car and plane crashes, said that her loss to Candice Glover in the finale if 'American Idol' on May 16 is just the "beginning," according to Hollywood Life.

Harrison told Hollywood Life that she is happy for Candice and her success.  "You know what, we're both standing there and the beauty of Candice and I is that we are both totally different artists. We are both so driven for each other's careers and I just felt like it was the beginning. This is not the end of the road for any of us. I'm so proud of her and I am proud of myself for getting this far and I couldn't believe I was standing there with her at the finale," she said.

The two women held onto one another as they waited to hear who would ultimately go home a winner, MTV reports.  When the results were finally announced Harrison gave a big smile, indicating her happiness for her competitor and friend.

Glover was at a complete loss for words when the results of her win were read, the Detroit News reports. "I can't even, oh, my God," she said. "Three years!"  Glover later told the Associated Press, "I always knew for some reason that it would happen if I kept going," according to Radar Online.

Harrison told MTV that she and Glover had chatted before the the moment when the ultimate decision was made about, "just how proud we were of each other; just whatever happens that we already feel like we've won."  Harrison said she sees big things in the future for her competitor.  "Stardom! Stardom!" she said.

Also for Harrison, herself, she said that her song, 'All Cried Out,' which she performed during this season of 'American Idol,' is a pretty good indicator of what's next for her, according to MTV.  "I would want that to be my single, either way. I hope [to debut new music on the road]. Stay tuned," she said.

In addition, Harrison told MTV News that she hopes to have some kind of a future with Randy Jackson, who is leaving the show now that the season has reached its end.  "It was sad. We'll see each other. I know we will," she told MTV News after the season finale on Thursday night. "I love him and apparently we have a mutual friend, which I didn't even know until the other day. And, so I would love to work with him in the future. I adore him."
