Lana Del Rey 'Queen Of Disaster' Leaks, Listen To Motown-Inspired Single

This...this I can get behind. Lana Del Rey's "Queen of Disaster" leaked onto the interwebs today, and it sounds decidedly un-LDR-like. While her compositions are usually dark and stormy, the backing track on "Queen" could be lifted from a Smoky Robinson B-side. And with her voice coming in somewhere between The Shirelles and Katy Perry, this 60s pastiche sounds destined for pop radio greatness.

There is no official word from LDR's camp about the song, but given her recent output (namely her cover of Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine") we may be seeing a new side to everyone's favorite fatalistic crooner. And sweet merciful Jeebus am I on board with that.
