Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Update: Wedding, Engagement Gossip 'Insane' Says Cyrus

Miley Cyrus took shots at the gossip whirlwind that surrounds her relationship with Liam Hemsworth. At the Maxim Hot 100 party (Cyrus was named #1), the actress/singer attacked the constant chatter about her wedding, engagement ring and relationship in general.

"It's insane," Miley told Hollyscoop.

"I just take it day by day and take it really slow and just remember that my music is the most important thing," she added. "The spotlight should be on that."

The gossip surrounding Miley and Liam kicked up after the pair allegedly got into a fight and Liam jetted off to Australia. Since then, Miley's dicey record of wearing her engagement ring has caused countless articles to be written.

It didn't help that collaborator Snoop Dogg and father Billy Ray Cyrus have both cast doubt on the relationship.

But, Miley has fired back several times, including in a interview with V Magazine.

"And it's like, I'm not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it's 'Are they broken up?" she said. "Because we don't see a photo of them.' I don't have time to go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don't. I'd rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I'm at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I've never done that with anything. I've put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it."
