Kanye West 'New Slaves' Samples Hungarian Rock Band, Omega Clip Used For Single Off New Album 'Yeezus'

So many people were busy freaking out about the way in which "New Slaves" was marketed (projected on 66 buildings, yada yada) and the lyrical content of the first song off Kanye West's new album Yeezus, that it's understandable if you missed that the song is a return to Yeezy's old crate-digging ways. The man who can do more with a rare sample than just about anyone sampled a track by 60s Hungarian rock band Omega for the end of the track (the part that is presumably sung over by Frank Ocean).

This has me incredibly excited. Music nerd Kanye trumps "hire famous people to come play instruments for me" Kanye any day.

And just in case you forgot, here is his kinda awesome/terrifying Saturday Night Live performance of "New Slaves" and "Black Skinheads."

Yeezus drops June 18.
