Paris Hilton Signs To Cash Money, Joins Ranks Of Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj

Every once in a while, the news makes you do a double-take. And I just about broke my neck with this one. Paris Hilton has signed to Cash Money records, joining the likes of Lil Wayne, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Busta Rhymes (who I may have ever-so-subtly shouted out higher in this paragraph).

The Hilton heir and socialite who made a name for herself via a sex tape and subsequent reality shows revealed the deal to Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411.

Via Showbiz:

"But the big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by CashMoney Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer."

Paris goes on to say that the album will be "different than my first album" and will predominantly be "house music."

Some people may think this news is terrible. I personally can't wait to see if Paris is the latest YMCMB member to say "Rah, Rah, like a dungeon dragon."

Paris' last album Paris was released in 2006. The heiress' debut was universally panned but I know more than a few people who put on "Stars Are Blind" when no one is looking.

You might think that Paris having a music/television career despite having little discernible talent in either field isn't fair. But Hilton doesn't care. She's a motherf***in Cash Money Millionaire!
