Looks like Mariah will just have to "Shake It Off." While the "Beautiful" singer performed live on Good Morning America Friday she suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, which almost exposed her breasts on live TV.
MiMi looked stunning in a blush pink and nude sequined Versace gown. The hues complimented her tan skin, as she kept all eyes on her dress with minimal accessories, and when beautiful dress came undone while Mariah was on stage chatting with
"Oh shoot, the back of my dress just popped,"she said as she held it up to cover her chest. "I love you, Donatella, but it popped, darling."
The wardrobe team rushed to her side, and the veteran performer distracted the audience maintaining her conversation with Spencer. She took the incident with stride as she joked with her back turned to the audience, that she might as well just hold her chest up during her live performance.
'I'll just hold them up the hold time!' Mariah said. Mariah continued to poke fun at herself as she foreshadowed an internet storm. 'I just wanted to change the ensemble, you know,' she said. 'What should we call this, the Central Park Saga? It seems like a YouTube moment, possibly a Spotify moment!'
Mimi didn't let the wardrobe malfunction phase her, as she performed a medley of hits, including her new smash single "Beautiful," featuring Miguel. Following a quick wardrobe change, into a hot pink flowy gown, Miguel and Mariah put on a show, that made the crowd forget that they almost saw Mariah's chest.
The on air appearance comes after Mariah was recently accused of lip synching during a special performance on American Idol, the Daily Mail reported.
Critics on Twitter blasted the Butterfly's performance with claims she lip synched through the entire medley of hits.
