Natalie Grant, Christian singer/songwriter, will release her new single, 'Hurricane,' on June 4.

"My new song, 'Hurricane' is coming to @itunes June 4th, but you can pre-order NOW :)," Grant tweeted on May 24.

The music video for the single is already accessible on YouTube.

'Hurricane' will likely appear on her upcoming album, which she has recently finished writing. On May 23, Grant posted on Facebook saying, "Creativity & inspiration usually hit me at the strangest times. I just wrote the last song for my record in the Whole Foods parking lot."

Grant was chosen as GMA Female Vocalist of the Year from 2006-2009 and was the top-selling Adult Contemporary female solo artist in 2005, 2006 and 2008, according to the Natalie Grant website. She has also received RIAA Gold certification with her 2005 breakthrough album, 'Awaken' and her following album, 'Relentless,' has sold a significant number of copies since it was released in 2008. She also has maintained a formidable foothold in mainstream media and radio.

Grant's last album, entitled 'Love Revolution,' was released in August, 2010, according to her website. Two most well-known songs from that album are its first single, 'Greatness of out God,' and a song entitled 'Human,' which was performed live by Grant and Jordin Sparks, 'American Idol' star and co-writer of the song.

In addition to her music, Grant is also and active advocate for victims of human trafficking. In 2005, she created 'The Home Foundation,' which has raised over a quarter of a million dollars to fight the sex trafficking of women and children.

Grant is determined to continue creating music in order spread the Gospel message of hope and love and ultimately make a difference in the world, her website reports. "When we live the love of the Gospel out loud, a revolution will occur," Grant said.  Her next show will be on July 28, at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas.
