Nicki Minaj has finally ended the year long beef with Hot 97 Radio Host Peter Rosenberg only after throwing a few jabs before officially ending it.

During the stations annual concert, "Summer Jam" Rosenberg said some very opinionated comments about her latest single "Starship" which was being live streamed on several sites including the rappers personal website for her scheduled performance telling the crowd, "We about that real hip-hop, not 'Starships.' "

The rapper didn't take his comments lightly and refused to perform and the beef between the rapper and Rosenberg began and went viral. Lil Wayne ordered Minaj and other Young Money artists to not step on the stage.

During the recent interview Minaj told Rosenberg that she was over the beef and that she was only upset because she didn't know who he was and what he had accomplished saying, "I don't know your resume. I never found you funny. I never found you entertaining. I never found you smart," she said. "I just found you annoying. To me it was like, who are you? You don't have enough of a resume to make those comments."

The rapper did have regrets of hurting her fans saying, "In hindsight I should have just done the show," she told the station. "I wish I would have come out. I apologize (to the fans) for not doing the show."

Minaj admitted that she was not the typical Hip Hop artist but wants to go back to her core roots, "I'm choosing to get back to my essence and just feed the core hip-hop fans," she said, noting that she plans to take her lyricism a notch higher. "I've just been getting back to that place to where I was right before my first album, which is kill, kill kill, kill, kill, kill everything."
