Watch Lady Gaga Play Lady Chameleon In 'Machete Kills' Teaser Trailer [VIDEO]

Lady Gaga may still be out of commission from a hip surgery earlier this year, but that doesn't mean fans can't watch her perform. Check her out as Lady Chameleon in the teaser trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills.

Machete Kills is a sequel to a movie that was born of the fake trailers that played at the beginning of the Rodriguez-Quentin Tarantino double feature Grindhouse. Kills features a lot of A-list celebs and a generous dose of stunt casting.

Among the bona fide stars: Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Machete himself, Danny Trejo.

Featured in roles that were no doubt intended to build buzz: Mel Gibson as an arms dealer, Lady Gaga as what I'm guessing is some sort of hooker-assassin, and Charlie Sheen (billed by his birth name of Carlos Estevez) as the President of the United States.

The film will be Gaga's first role in a major motion picture.

Earlier this year, Gaga was forced  to cancel her ultra-successful Born This Way Ball tour after suffering a labral tear that required surgery. While Gaga was wheelchair bound for a while, recent reports have her giving impromptu performances at jazz concerts.

It is rumored that she will return to the stage during Beyonce's upcoming stop at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
