Schoolboy Q New Album: TDE, Black Hippy Associate Talks 'Oxymoron'

YAWK YAWK YAWK! Black Hippy member Schoolboy Q has some serious confidence in his upcoming album Oxymoron, the follow-up to his much-lauded debut Habits and Contradictions. In an interview with This Is 50, Q promised that his secretive new album would be "the hottest sh*t ever."

Oddly enough, when asked about the one aspect of the industry he doesn't care for in the interview, Schoolboy Q says:

"Interviews, I would rather do them with my fans."

He clarified that it's not so much interviews, but clueless interviewers that get his goat.

"I hate people to ask me questions. Like, 'How did you come up with ScHoolboy Q?'", he said. "Bitch, go to Wikipedia or any YouTube, Google, and you can find it out. You know what I'm saying? Go to any Website, you'll figure it out cause they asked me that in 2010."

Another strange aspect of the interview, apparently the Cali rapper can't get any love in his own city.

"New York been my hot spot since I dropped Setbacks," Q said. "New York been fucking with me for forever. I been embraced with New York. You know what I'm saying...I'm trying to get that L.A. love. I did two shows in L.A. Like ever. Booked anyway. You know how many shows I did last year, 2012, in New York? Eight. I did eight shows in New York."

There's only one way to respond when Schoolboy Q gets to talking like this.
