Papoose Summer Jam: Kendrick Lamar Invites TDE Set Hijacker On Stage

While the talk around Hot 97's Summer Jam XX has been mostly positive, there has been a lot of questioning regarding Papoose's 5-minute set at the end of TDE and Kendrick Lamar's performance. While many people are accusing Papoose of pulling a Lil' Mama (who famously jumped on stage with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys), according to AllHipHop Papoose was invited.

"Basically, Kendrick and TDE gave Pap about 5 minutes of their performance set to do his thing. Now, that's real. I gotta give it up. I would have liked it better if TDE had put Pap in the middle with a stamp of approval - not at the freakin end all alone in the world. Pap and Kay Slay have been very helpful to TDE and they returned the favor. I just wish Pap just did some raw lyrical delivery but, I guess he's promoting a new album that I didn't know was even out. There goes my real Hip-Hop cred card."

So, there it is. TDE was doing Papoose a solid for the time's he had helped them.

Hot 97 is putting the blame all on Rosenberg, a personality at the station.

P.S. If you don't know who Papoose is, shame on you. While he has certainly fallen off in the last several years ("off the radar" at least), he still did "Alphabetical Slaughter" which should count for something.
