Kate Winslet Pregnant: Oscar Winner Expecting Baby With New Husband Ned Rocknroll, 'Titanic' Actress' Third Child

37-year-old actress Kate Winslet's representatives have officially announced the Academy Award winner's third pregnancy and her first with her new husband, Ned Rocknroll. Kate and Ned had a secret wedding before Christmas of 2012 and have been going strong ever since. According to the actress' rep, "The baby is due at the end of the year," and the married couple are "delighted" at the news.

With the news of the couple expecting their first child together, a close friend had said:

"Kate and Ned have been talking about having babies since they met. Ned has always wanted kids and has been amazing with Kate's. They are very family people. Ned is from a large family and is quite a hippy and is happy living in a commune. It was always a plan to have kids."

Kate and Ned (born Abel Smith) met back in August of 2011 when they were both vacationing in Necker. They were with their respective significant others at the time but hit it off with each other. While on vacation, Winslet actually saved the life of Sir Richard Branson's mother during a house fire!

Ned is the nephew of Richard Branson and works for his space travel company Virgin Galactic. He holds the title of Head of Marketing Promotion and Astronaut Experience. 

Rocknroll was previously married to Eliza Pearson. Kate was married to directors Sam Mendes and Tim Threapleton before finding Rocknroll.

Her first marriage to Threapleton produced Winslet's now 12-year-old daughter, Mia. With Mendes, Kate has a 9-year-old son, Joe.
