Ciara is on the road promoting for her forthcoming album "Ciara." The "Body Party," singer has been making headlines for her new short blonde do', internet feud with Rihanna, romantic romp with Future, and now live video has leaked of Cici's Jimmy Kimmel Live Outdoor Concert series performances.
Ciara shared behind the scene images with her followers on Instagram. She showed of her dramatic all black everything lace and leather look with the accompanying caption: Jimmy Kimmel #BodyParty #ImOut Air Date Coming Soon.
Ciara was on hand to perform her popular new singles "Body Party" written and produced by her beau Future and "I'm Out" featuring Nicki Minaj. While "Body Party" is the traditional Ciara dance track, featuring her signature vocals, the songstress tried a new style for "I'm Out." The animated track comes off as song for the ladies, it features a bass heavy beat, which immediately implies that it is dance track, yet it falls flat; lacking a climax, as the famous "bands and pour it up," Mike Will Made It beat loop serves as the sole basis of the track. While Nicki Minaj holds her own on, consistently showcasing her versatility and ability to adapt to almost any beat, somehow Ciara's cross between singing and rapping fails to entertain, as her lyrics are even less appealing.
Nicki Leads the track with "Ayo CiCi, let me show you how to do a singing bitch greasy," and you almost want to think is she referring to Rihanna? As Nicki continues, she also refers to someone trying to play her on social media. Nicki raps, "You want to play me? On Instagram b*tches want to shade me." If you recall Rihanna and Ciara exchanged posts and indirect words on Twitter and Instagram earlier this year.
Just when you think Ciara is going to back Nicki up, she starts her verse, with a robotic style speaking voice, saying, "I just went through a break up..." For the entire song Cici goes from semi singing voice to the "Goodies" Ciara voice that made her breakout hit a success. If "Im' Out" is any indication of the direction Ciara is taking with her new album, it should be interesting to hear more from the blonde bombshell.
