Gomez's on-and-off again relationship with the "Believe" teen heartthrob continues to steal the spotlight, even at times when the duo aren't even actually dating. Now get this rumor... was the "Spring Breakers" beauty simply USING the Biebs for fame? Apparently, the fact that Bieber's sometimes considered the "Michael Jackson" of this era really helped to boost Gomez's career... Fans can believe what they wish, but one Hollywood Life insider insists that the "Come & Get It" songstress has her OWN natural talent to fall back on... there's no way she's trying to take advantage of the Biebs. So calm down, all you overprotective Beliebers out there!

"Justin is like the Michael Jackson of our era, so it's beneficial for her... She's got her own talent though, she'll be okay. They do like each other. It's young love." 

The source continues... "They are not together right now... They are just friends. They are always on and off." For now... "[Bieber] does his thing, he is low key. He is quiet about it." 

Both stars are young... they derserve time to have some fun before settling down! That doesn't mean their relationship and feelings for one another aren't authentic...
