In a bit of news that can only be described as "awesome", everyone' favorite egomaniacal rapper Kanye West is now the star of his own video game, a sci-fi RPG rendered in 16-bit graphics called "Kanye Quest 3030."The video game plot is described on its website:

In January 2010, as rapper and producer Kanye West is taking the garbage out one day, he suddenly travels through a wormhole. Emerging on the other side, Kanye finds himself in the year 3030. In a dystopian city filled with clones of hip-hop musicians and under the control of a god-like dictator, can Kanye get back home?

Put even more simply by game's trailer:

"This is Kanye West. Today, he will go on a Kanye Quest."

It's worth watching just for the chiptune rendition of "Power". The trailer also shows some battle footage as Kanye fights a 2Pac clone. From the trailer's numerous references to a Based God, we can assume Lil B will be the final boss.

The game is in alpha testing right now, but can be downloaded from the game's website.

What do you think of Kanye Quest 3030? Can it beat out perrenial joke-rpg classics like Charles Barkley: Shut Up And Jam Gaiden?

Sound off in the comments.
