Reports confirm that "Fashion Police" host and comedienne Joan Rivers will "trade lives" with Sarah Palin's 22-year-old daughter Bristol on the summer 2013 season premiere of "Celebrity Wife Swap." For an entire week, Joan and her daughter Melissa must care for the former "DWTS" contestant's four-year-old son Tripp in Wasilla, Alaska while Bristol and her sister Willow fly off to Hollywood to join showbiz. The episode should prove an interesting experience for the outspoken Joan Rivers, considering Bristol is definitely "no Alaskan Snooki" (as San Francisco Chronicle TV critic David Wiegand amusingly points out).

The Rivers-Palin season premiere of "Celebrity Wife Swap" airs on June 23. ABC announced the unlikely pairing on Thursday (June 6) - the new season will also feature girlfriend and wife of former WWE wrestlers "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair on June 30 as well as actress Nia Peeples and singer Tiffany on July 7.

While Joan and Melissa Rivers must learn to "contain" the energetic Tripp in the Alaskan wilderness, Bristol will be thrown into the hectic world of entertainment. The Palin girls will have to maintain Joan's jam-packed, celebrity-studded schedule in LA while still caring for Melissa's 12-year-old son, Cooper.

For those totally in the dark, Bristol and Willow are the daughters of former Alaska Governor and John McCain's 2008 Vice President nominee, Sarah Palin. Rivers should have a ball with that fact.

Members of the Palin family aren't shy to reality television. Bristol competed in seasons 11 and 15 of "Dancing with the Stars" - she also had her own short-lived Lifetime series entitled "Life's a Tripp." The show was deemed "dull" and "depressing" and Palin was considered too "normal." There was also the TLC series, "Sarah Palin's Alaska"...

As for the mother-daughter Rivers duo, they have their own reality show called "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?"

Here's the challenge with the "Wife Swap" premiere, according to San Francisco Chronicle TV critic David Wiegand:

"The challenge is that she's just not that interesting... She's not especially glamorous, and, at the other end of the spectrum, is no Alaskan Snooki either."

Will fans tune-in to the swap?
