Black Sabbath's last album with the original members was Never Say Die in 1978. That is, until their latest effort, 13, drops on Tuesday, nearly a full 35 years later.

So with so much time in between albums, this was clearly just a reunion record. They would never record another album, right?

"Well, I guess you should never say never," bassist Geezer Butler told Billboard. "It could be (the last one), though. We'll see how this album goes, see what happens."

Ozzy Osbourne rejoined Butler and Tony Iommi for 13, which is currently streaming on iTunes in advance of its hard copy release on Tuesday. Osbourne also offered his thoughts on another album to Billboard.

"Let's put it this way; it's taken us 35 years to do this one," he notes with a laugh. "So if there's gonna be (another) album there's gonna be an album but I don't want to say if there's going to be a follow-up. I wouldn't mind doing another Sabbath album with them, though."

Black Sabbath gave fans a preview of the new album during shows in Australia, New Zealand and the OZZFest in Tokyo in April and May. And based on the enthusiastic fan reactions Osbourne described, a new album might just be a good idea for all involved.

"If Australia and New Zealand and Japan are anything to go by, it's gonna be great," Osbourne said. "In Japan they're usually very polite; they give you a round of applause and sit down again. But when we were there they were f**king going crazy. I'm baffled myself. I don't understand why it's happening. I am blown away. I mean, 45 years down the road and we've got a really great album to put out. Talk about icing on the cake! It's unbelievable."
