The Top 5 contestants sang Monday night for three spots in next week's finals of Season 4 of NBC's "The Voice" and things got interesting as three of the five acts could be in serious danger of elimination.

Once again, the contestants sang a judges' choice and contestants' choice during the two-hour broadcast.

Michelle Chamuel continued to build her case as a lock for the finals. Usher chose Zedd feat. Foxes' "Clarity," a song with a contemplative message but a dance beat. But Michelle made it her own as she's done all season and her performance soared because of it.

For her contestant's choice, Michelle went with Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time." It was her second Cyndi Lauper song of the season but this performance felt fresh as Michelle proved again why she deserves a spot in the finals, if not why she should win the whole competition.

The Swon Brothers delivered two lackluster performances last week but turned things around this week starting with Blake Shelton's choice of Loggins and Messina's "Danny Song." Zach played the piano and the brothers delivered one of their strongest performances of the season.

Their contestant's choice was Bob Seger's "Turn The Page" and they managed to add their country flavor to the classic rock ballad without overdoing it. The brothers should secure a spot in the finals, but America may not feel the same way.

Now, for the three acts who could be in danger this week. Danielle Bradbery tackled Tim McGraw's "Please Remember Me" for Blake's choice but, as has been a problem for her for much of the season, she just did not (or more likely, COULD not), connect with the lyrics, which hurt her performance.

She chose Jessica Andrews' "Who I Am" for herself and delivered a stronger performance than the McGraw number. She even worked the crowd (and the viewing audience) well by entering the crowd to hug her parents.

For Shakira's choice, Sasha Allen sang Donna Summer's "Bad Girls" and also worked in some nicely choreographed dance moves to punch up the performance.

Unfortunately, her choice of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" may prove to be the end of her on Season 4 of "The Voice." It's a daunting song for anyone to tackle simply because of the raw power of Houston's original rendition, and Sasha fell well short of the mark on this one.

Adam Levine gave Amber Carrington one of his own songs, Maroon 5's "Sad," and she actually knocked it out of the park. She commanded the song well and did her coach proud.

But like Sasha, the contestant's choice could be Amber's undoing as her rendition of Katy Perry's "Firework" was unfortunately a mess. She never got comfortable during the performance and the house band did her no favors.

The Top 5 will receive the results during Tuesday night's results broadcast.
