The highly anticipated release of Kanye West's "Yeezus" is less than 10 days away. While Yeezy has been secretive about his new offspring, the "New Slaves" rapper shared his album in New York City last night, at a private listening party at Milk Studios.

The star-studded event featured appearances from Jay-Z, Beyonce, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, and some of the top hip-hop bloggers and writers in New York City. Yeezy announced album collaborations, including Daft Punk and Chief Keef. The Grammy Award winning rapper maintained his "I don't give a f*ck" attitude dismissing the press and the media rumors as he explained the name behind his new album. "I want to explain something about the album title. Simply put, 'West' was my slave name and 'Yeezus' is my god name,"Kanye said.

West revealed that Daft Punk worked on "three or four" songs on the album (including "Black Skinhead," "On Site" and "I Am a God"). Other details: Chief Keef, King Louie, Kid Cudi and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver appear on the record, C-Murder lines get sampled, as does Billy Holiday, The Huffington Post reported.

Watch Kanye perform "I Am God" live at the 21st Annual Governors Ball:

"We didn't give a fuck about what nobody said from the outside looking in," Kanye told listeners. "We just wanted to make the best product possible and this is just the beginning of an entire new mentality about how to make music," 'Ye said. Rick Rubin executively produced Kanye's sixth album.

According to the AP, the album has a "dark, moody vibe that expands beyond his last two solo efforts," and it's a departure from his first three, hit-filled albums. "Yeezus" stands out from 'Ye's discography for it's sporadic and influenced by range of genres including reggae to dance.

"Yeezus" features 10 hard hitting, versatile tracks, that are more theatrical then your average hip-hop experience. Kanye's genius single handedly intertwines his appreciation and interpretation of several genres of music, as he shares his most coveted thoughts on "Yeezus."

With tracks like "I am God," Yeezy in a somewhat arrogant fashion acknowledges the "God" with himself, and glorifies his persona as he inconspicuously reveals his anointed rebirth. Kanye raps, "I am a God, even though I am a man of God, prepared by the hands of God." As usual his lyrics are powerful, honest, and raw.

Kanye shocked fans when he premiered, "New Slaves" and "Black Skinheads," during his SNL apperance in May. The Chicago native has been at the top of his game since "College Dropout," and as his lyrical direction continues to go against the grain of what has become known as "mainstream hip-hop" also know as strip club music, Kanye's legacy will speak volumes beyond his time.

"Yeezus" is out June 18 on Def Jam. There are no pre-release singles or pre-orders.
