There's no shortage of new music festivals, particularly those with vacation-like settings. Now, rock band My Morning Jacket are following the likes of the Weezer Cruise with their One Big Holiday, set to take place Jan. 26-30, 2014, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

According to the event's website, the four-day concert experience will include three "totally unique" shows from MMJ and a huge dance party thrown by the band. The vacation will be limited to just 2,500 fans and the band, in order to keep the event feeling intimate.

During their time at the newly renovated resort, fans will not be limited simply to live music for entertainment. Activities such as yoga classes, tennis, tequila tastings and pre-show barbeques are also on the schedule. Attendees willing to leave the premises can also take attractions that nearby towns have to offer, including Mayan ruins and local shops and tacos.

Tickets for rooms at the resort over the weekend range from $1299 for a double to $2599 for two-bedroom suite with a sky terrace. Though the price may seem steep, a room at the Hard Rock for this weekend is all-inclusive and includes all music, food and drinks.

Tickets for One Big Holiday will go on sale Friday, June 21, and can be purchased at www.mmjonebigholiday.com or over the phone at 561-368-8922. My Morning Jacket Roll Call members can participate in a pre-sale on June 19 and 20. Members will need register for a pre-sale token here.

Fans making the excursion down to Mexico can look forward to hearing new music from My Morning Jacket. Though frontman Jim James is currently on tour supporting his solo release, Regions of Light and Sound of God, he recently told Rolling Stone that MMJ will hit the studio this fall.

"We're going to start in October," he said. "We're in the process of nailing down a studio. So we're going to start that in the fall, so I'm super excited about that.

Those looking to see what, exactly, the My Morning Jacket live experience is like can check out this 2004 Bonnaroo performance of "One Big Holiday," the song their live extravaganza is named after.
