Investigations and interest in the Paris Jackson attempted suicide saga continued as audio from the  call the Lost Hills sheriff's department made to the L.A. Fire Department during the fiasco was released by TMZ on Wednesday.

During the call, the sheriff's office confirms earlier reports that the daughter of Michael Jackson had overdosed after taking around 20 Motrin and that she had cut herself with a kitchen knife. The sheriff's department adds during the call that the situation in the home is safe and Jackson was "awake and breathing." You can listen to the audio here

Jackson contacted a suicide hotline prior to the authorities arriving. After being taken from her home to a nearby hospital, Jackson was checked into a 72-hour psychiatric hold at Los Angeles's Children's Hospital. On Sunday, she was transferred to the UCLA medical center where her father passed away four years ago.

A judge has since ordered an investigation into Paris's well-being. She is currently under the legal guardianship of her grandmother Katherine and cousin T.J. Some have speculated that the girl's grandmother is detached, and rumors suggest that the final straw before Jackson attempted suicide was her not being allowed to attend a Marilyn Manson concert. More news was made yesterday when Paris's birth mother Debbie Rowe volunteered to step in as guardian if the court mandated or if Paris requested it.

Paris has also been under an understandably high level of stress due to the family's ongoing $40 billion lawsuit against concert promoter AEG, which the Jackson clan accuse of causing Michael's death by assigning him questionable medical help.
