After the official release of her latest song "Skirt" a few weeks ago, Kylie Minogue has released a follow up lyric video for the track this morning (June 13) via Nowness.com.

The song itself was created from a mixture of simple tribal beats, a loud dubstep-infused chorus and sexy vocals/lyrics. (The pre-chorus, not so subtly, is simply, "And then my skirt came down, down, down.") "Skirt" was co-written by The-Dream, who has penned hits like Britney Spears and Madonna's "Me Against The Music" and Justin Bieber's "Baby."

Though it's unclear whether this clip is the official video or just a lyrical teaser, it does give viewers a peak of Kylie in more ways than one. Instagram-like filters are used over shots of the singer dancing and rolling around in a little black dress and tousled hair. The words to the song, then, are overlaid on top of the visuals, allowing viewers to learn the words of the track and sing along.

In an interview with Nowness, Minogue gave the scoop on her upcoming 12th studio album. The Australian pop superstar, best known in the United States for her hits "Locomotion" and "Can't Get You Out Of My Head," is prepping a record with Jay-Z's Roc Nation.  It will be her first effort with the label.

"Joining the Roc family has been an exciting whirlwind. I've had the opportunity to work with some producers who have been on my wish list for a number of years so it's amazing," she told Nowness. "Roc Nation is such a dynamic company, combining many years of experience with a hungry young team.  It makes for fireworks and I think that will be heard in the music."

Minogue also noted that fans can expect "pop dance but with a few new flavors" from the new record.

The upcoming album has yet to be finished or given a title. However, listeners should be able to expect more from Minogue in 2013.
