In the surveillance footage obtained by TMZ, you see 2 Chainz and his entourage approached by two men at gunpoint and immediately, the rapper and his crew take off running as he escapes death after the men open fire. The rapper is later seen on the ground as his jewelry was stripped away from him and suspects are shown running away.
Early this week, 2 Chainz denied the robbery but cops confirm the Sunday night robbery. According to police the "I'm Different" rapper was walking down the street with his entourage when three men approached them with a gun and one shot was fired.
The famous rapper tweeted about the incident claiming it never happened, "rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that have been has been taken. Rings, chains, watch, money, etc. 2 answer that question ... Rule #2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to the hospital and dies."
According to TMZ there is surveillance footage of the robbery.
The rapper had a performance in Oakland at a local radio station's concert at the Oracle Arena. The rapper tweeted, "Rule# 3 we definitely got geeked up in San Fran, best smoke in the world. 2 blessed 2 stress."
