Video released Thursday only a bad week worse for rapper 2 Chainz. The hip-hop artist made news earlier in the week when it was reported that he was robbed at gunpoint, a claim that the "Birthday Song" rapper denied. Chainz was unable to deny that he was later arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for drug possession.

But returning to the robbery: TMZ released footage today that is reportedly from a security camera that caught the robbery taking place, and it doesn't do much for Chainz's street cred.

The video shows the event taking place from two different angles. The first shows the rapper and his friends sauntering down the street when a man with a gun enters from the right (the street). Chainz and crew immediately tear off in the other direction to escape the assault. A second gunman is shown pursuing the victims, and is apparently enjoying himself. He seems to skip after them.

Camera two shows the events occurring from the opposite direction. At this angle, it seems the rapper at first tries to avoid the gunman by running into the street and weaving around parked cars. Finally, he gets back onto the sidewalk and dashes off. Unfortunately for him, viewers see the rapper trip to the ground in the distance and his assailant catches up to him. The police report indicates that the thief made off with Chainz's cell phone and wallet.

The rapper hasn't responded to the new evidence against his version events, but he tweeted a denial earlier in the week.

"Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken," he wrote.

Brad Pitt might say Rule #1 is not to talk about Fight Club, but Chainz's logic is good too.
