Halle Berry Pregnant with a Boy, Daddy Olivier Martinez Shares Sex of Baby

Looks like it will be a bouncing baby boy for actress Halle Berry and her fiancé Olivier Martinez! Berry's main man spilled the beans to People at a red carpet event in Paris.

When talking about the cultural differences between red carpets in France and America, Martinez let it slip that his son "will be an American."

"I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there ­- but I'm still a foreigner. My son will be an American," he said.

There's no doubt about the sex of the upcoming bundle of joy, Martinez repeated the phrase twice with no hesitation. Seems like he'll certainly be a proud papa.

Martinez and Berry's son, due sometime in the fall, will be the first for the actor and the second for his beau. Berry gave birth to daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry in 2008.

After five years of dating, Aubry and Berry announced their separation in 2010. A tense custody battle involving Nahla followed the break up. The year-and-a-half long ordeal included domestic disputes, restraining orders and lawsuits with leaked court documents. Eventually, the exes reached a custody agreement in November of last year.

With all that drama behind her, Berry is all smiles with Martinez now. The engaged couple is in France for the Champs-Elysees Film Festival. Martinez is serving as the festival's honorary president this year, while Berry is a special guest of honor.

Best of luck to Berry, Martinez and their family. Now that we know they're expecting a boy, it's time to think of names!
