Oklahoma City Tornado Relief Concert, Garth Books, Toby Keith, Willy Nelson: 'Hope On The Rocks' Singer to Headline July 6 Benefit at University of Oklahoma, Norman Hometown

The legends are coming out to play! This year on July 6, 2013 three legendary country singers will headline a benefit to help raise money for the destruction caused by the Oklahoma City tornados. Keith has an especially strong connection with the area, being as it is where he is from.

"I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I've got lots of family and friends who were directly affected," he said, according to the press release. "I know these folks and they're resilient, but we're going to keep helping them any way we can. I'm proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities."

The concert is set for two days after Independence day, and these singers are using their freedom to roam and sing their songs to play and raise money for Oklahoma.

Trisha Yearwood and Ronnie Dunn are also at the docket of people who will be playing the concert. The tickets go on sale June 21, 2013 and will be $25 each. The money raised will go to the Torando Relief Fund through the United Way.

"Once we got the news that the tornado had hit Toby's hometown, Miss Yearwood and I told Toby we were at his service for whatever he chose to do," Brooks says, according to a press release. "I am amazed at the human spirit the tornado victims have shown. I am humbled by the giving of the volunteers. It is an honor to get to be a part of this healing process."
