Kate Upton Dating Rumors: Sexy Model Dating Mark Sanchez? 'SI' Sweetheart Also Rumored to Be 'Romancing' Maksim Chmerkovskiy

A new dating rumor has struck model Kate Upton during the week of her 21st birthday. The newest rumor, as reported by TMZ, is that the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl is seeing New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. 

Of course, as with most rumors, headlines say more about the subject than the celebrity themselves. Upton was certainly less than committal when addressing questions from a paparazzo. 

"I don't know," she said when asked if she was seeing Sanchez. "It's whatever you think." 

This sounds more like someone who's tired of being asked who she's dating, versus someone trying to be coy. It's the second rumored relationship this week for Upton, who turned 21 on Monday. 

Earlier this week, the classic unnamed sources for Us Weekly reported that Upton was dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a professional dancer from "Dancing With The Stars." The pair reportedly shared dinner on the night of her birthday. A representative for the dancer refused to comment on his personal life, which didn't do much to dissuade the rumors. On the other hand, E! had its own secret sources who reported the duo are "just good friends." 

The press is getting desperate to link the model with someone, from MLB pitch Justin Verlander to rapper Diddy, probably because it seems like a shame that she's not dating anyone. It's safe to say that whenever Upton feels like mingling, she can get ahold of pretty much anyone she wants. Sanchez has enough on his plate anyway, trying to keep his job as the starter for the Jets.
