Blake Shelton has a lot of friends as most of you are sure to know. He goes out to parties, and is constantly tweeting about different things he does and different people he hangs out with. That being said, it should come as no surprise to us all when he plugs a song from a fellow country artist and his old friend Joe Nichols.

Joe Nichols has a new song out right now that is rocking the country scene, just not as hard as he might have hoped. Blake Shelton, in his large ball of fame at the moment, could make the viewership of his new song spike, which would be kind of like a cool superpower almost. Sort of like the Colbert bump when Stephen Colbert plugs a book on his show and it instantly starts selling more copies.

Joe Nichols has a lot of singles, from Tequila makes her clothes fall off, to his new current song called "Sunny and 75". Nichols has been on the scene since 1996, and jumped from recording studio to recording studio until landing a more solid deal in 2002 with Show-Dog Universal Music.

"Ill Wait For You," and "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" both came in 2005, where "Brokenheartsville" and many of his other songs that we all know and love came out in 2002. Nichols has been jumping around the country stage for a while, playing shows. Now he is making a comeback eight years later with "Gimme That Girl" and other new material, which is going to be very refreshing! Welcome back to the scene Mr. Nichols, we have all missed you.

To hear the song all you need to do is scroll down just a little bit farther until you see it. It's a good song, y'all shouldn't be too disappointed.
