Only Miley Cyrus could have a five-second snippet of a song leak and cause major news. The singer is getting people talking about her relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth with the new track.

The tiny preview features the lyrics, "I know you're going to want me to come home for a last goodbye," leading to speculation that the track may have been written about her supposedly rocky relationship.

Could the "last goodbye" be a semi-reference to the couple's film The Last Kiss?

Despite speculation, the "We Can't Stop" singer and her Hunger Games fiancé would likely deny any lyrically-brought upon rumors. After being accused of flirting with fellow pop star Justin Bieber last week, Cyrus said, "I'm engaged! I'm engaged. That's impossible."

So, if the track is not about her romantic relationship, maybe it is supposed to be addressed to her family. Miley's parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus filed for divorce last week after 19 years of marriage.

Although it's unlikely Miley would cut off communication with either of her folks, things in the Cyrus household were strained late last week. Miley tweeted at her father "Since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?"

If the Cyrus family troubles were long brewing, it's possible Miley would have penned the song to voice her frustration at the lack of communication. Should she go back to her parents' home to say one last goodbye? That would certainly be one way to talk.

Most likely, though, the song is just another track from Miley Cyrus' upcoming 2013 album. The songstress is well known for not necessarily writing her own lyrics and music.

In 2009, Cyrus noted that despite the lyrics to her mega-hit "Party in the U.S.A.," she had never actually put on a Jay-Z song. Similarly, her latest single "We Can't Stop" was originally intended for Rihanna, making the drug-fueled lyrics slightly less scandalous.

What do readers think? Is the new song aimed at Liam, Miley's family or no one in particular? Should a track even be judged by a 5-second clip? Listen to the snippet below:
