The Last of Us is a new video game set in an apocalyptic near future that is full of fungus-infected people who have since turned into zombie-like monsters. This game has been getting great reviews and is a huge step in the advancement of the medium. Fortunately, the production company responsible for the game (Naughty Dog) kept in the video game tradition of hiding an "Easter Egg" in game play. The company also has a sense of humor because it mashed up pop star Justin Bieber and one of the company's biggest game series, Uncharted.

Thanks to one The Last of Us player who managed to catch some game play on video and upload it to YouTube, we get to see a newspaper headline that clearly read, "Uncharted 13: A Lush Movie, Justin Bieber as Drake."

In the Uncharted series, you play as an Indiana Jones-type character named Nathan Drake and get into wild adventures. The game series is a real life success, so when creators reference it in The Last of Us, it makes sense. Reports about an Uncharted movie have been circulating for a while now, and fans are get pretty angry with each casting rumor. If the franchise got to 13 films like the fake newspaper headline suggests, having The Biebs as Drake would be a huge mistake in the eyes of fans.

In fact, some people are suggesting that the apocalyptic turn of events in The Last of Us were due in part to the Bieber movie in the game's reality. Surely the humans infected by the strange fungus could not have been caused by the "Baby" singer's fictitious role in a video game movie, right? What do you think of this theory?
