Amanda Bynes Twitter 2013: Nick Cannon Deems Former Nickelodeon Actress' Public Meltdown 'Sad' [VIDEO]

Another Nickelodeon alum has weighed in on the steady public meltdown of Amanda Bynes, much of it gleefully watched by gossip lovers on Twitter. Nick Cannon called what has happened to Bynes "sad" in a recent interview with the Howard Stern show.

The current America's Got Talent host, who (like Bynes) got his start on sketch show All That told the show how he felt about her recent outbursts, run-ins with the law and public crack-ups:

"Like to see someone you've seen at nine and you know she was running around with a snotty nose, and now to see her like that, it's like, wow, man. It's sad," said Cannon.

"I worked on Amanda's show when she had her show," he said referring to The Amanda Show. "That's like my little sister."

Cannon also said that he's attempted to get a hold of Bynes, but hasn't been able to reach her as the actress has switched management teams since they last spoke.

Compare this with fellow Amanda Show cast member Drake Bell who, just last week swore that Bynes was "perfectly healthy" and that nothing was wrong with the former child star.
